What do I need in order to rent?: If you or your company has an established charge account with Reading Rentals, we follow the guidelines provided by your company. For an individual or company that does not have an account with us, we require, at minimum, a valid Pennsylvania driver's license or equivalent picture ID. Out-of-state contractors may be required to provide us with a credit card as a security. Additionally for some items, a deposit plus the rental in advance may be requested at the time of rental. Please contact one of our sales representatives to discuss your particular situation.

Can you bill me?: Credit must be arranged in advance. Charge accounts are welcomed but must be approved prior to a rental, sale, or service. You can download a copy of our Credit Application here.

How do I pay for my rental?: Reading Rentals accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and checks for payment of rentals. If you would like us to bill you or your company, it is necessary to first establish a charge account.

Deposits are accepted in all the forms listed above with the exception of checks. We are not able to accept a check for deposit.

Do you deliver?: Yes, delivery is available. There is an extra charge based on the time required, distance travelled, and towing/trailering requirements. Please call us for more information.

How long can I keep equipment?: Daily rates are based on 24 hours time out and 8 hours operating time. Equipment used for more than 8 hours per day will be subject to overtime charges. The Half Day rate is for up to 4 hours. Items having an hourly rate have a two hour minimum charge.

Any item that rents by an hourly rate cab be rented overnight on a Special 3 Hour rate if it is picked up after 4:30 p.m. and returned the following morning by 8 a.m. except Saturday night & before a holiday. Any item rented after 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon and returned before 8:00 a.m. the following Monday will be charged for one day.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, THE MINIMUM RATE IS FOR ONE DAY.
